Most weddings these days have some kind of entertainment at the reception, a band, DJ or maybe even a casino or a magician.. But Sam and Rob decided to go all out and make the most of the fantastic space available at Vallum Farm by getting actual fairground Shuggy boats and a strongman arcade for their wedding reception! How cool is that!!
There were so many thoughtful and personal touches the went into this wedding that I’m afraid I’m not sure I will be able to list them all in one post! For now though, grab a cuppa and get cosy, then start scrolling for your fix of wedding loveliness!
When Sam first started looking around for her wedding gown, the one thing she knew she did not want was lace :) Her gorgeous gown ended up being covered entirely in lace, and her shoes were about as lacey as you can get, (irregular choice too I must add- I <3 irregular choice shoes!!) I can’t imagine Sam in any other dress on her wedding day- She looked so beautiful! It just goes to show that even if you’re absolutely sure you don’t want a certain kind of dress- try it on anyway- you just never know!!
Rob looks on as his Bride comes down the aisle… I think we can safely say that he’s suitably impressed by what he sees! :)
Sams sisters incredibly talented boyfriend Ben Serenaded and played piano for the congregation whilst Sam & Rob signed the marriage register and made things official.
Sam’s Lovely Grandma had been growing, collecting and drying rose petals for over a year in order to create the most personal and special confetti for her granddaughters big day. And even though the rain was starting to come down as the happy couple left the church, those little petals full of Love showered Sam & Rob with good wishes for their future.
Rob bought all of his Groomsmen & his Best man Aviators as a thank you gift- the poor guy mentioned more than once that he thought he had dared the rain to make an appearance on their wedding day!! Im pretty sure thats not how it works Rob!! ;)
I love these little jars full of dance floor confidence set out in cocktail corner!!
How many folks can say that they had shuggy boats and a big ben striker to entertain their guests?? And even though the rain was pouring- family and friends donned their rain ponchos and headed out for some serious fun!! Vallum Farm is the perfect venue for bringing a little fairground fun to a wedding!
Never be afraid of rain on your wedding day!! Do like Sam and Rob- embrace the moment and see how awesome your pictures can turn out!!
Huge congratulations to you both Mr & Mrs Jarvis! And Thank you so much for allowing myself and my awesome 2nd shooter Ray Ray to capture your big day! Wishing you both all the Love & Happiness in the world!! xxx
