Pretty much as soon as you’ve set your date and booked your venue!
I am currently taking a limited amount of bookings for both 2016 & 2017.
I strive to give my clients the best possible service and I find that taking a limited amount of bookings each year enables me to achieve that service.
To put it simply, I’m here for you when you need me, otherwise I’m a fly on the wall! I like to keep in touch up until the wedding so that by the time your wedding comes around my aim is that you see me as a friend, another guest with a camera- just one that knows exactly how to make you look your best.
We’ve all been to those weddings where the photographer is shouting and you’re hanging around for what seems like an age waiting for the family photos to be over. Annoying right?
It doesn’t have to be that way!
Keep in mind that each group shot takes about 2-4 minutes to set up and as long as I have a list of who is important before the big day we can get all the family groups taken with a minimum of fuss and without your guests getting irate
Another way of avoiding the family group shots taking you away from your guests is to consider having a First Look..
I’m often asked what my favourite moment of photographing a wedding is; and every time my answer is the same: the moment the groom sees his beautiful bride for the very first time. There are no words to describe the incredible emotion that flows between the couple during this time; so I love to document it with images instead! First Look photographs generally happen directly before the ceremony begins, but after the bride and groom have gotten dressed for the wedding. It’s an amazing thing to watch, and clients are constantly tell me how meaningful the First Look images are for years to come.
I take great care in processing all of your images to reflect the style which you would expect from my portfolio. Whilst I do not undertake any heavyweight ‘airbrushing’ to alter your appearance, you can be certain that your images will show you as the very best version of yourself.
The number of photos you will receive does vary slightly from wedding to wedding, but you can expect to receive upwards of 500
high-resolution images which have been carefully curated and finished to the highest quality and ready to print.
I endeavour to give to a sneak peek of a select few images from your wedding day within one week of your wedding.
During the high season it will be no more than 6 weeks before you will receive the full collection of your wedding images.
Of course! I use an online delivery system which allows you to favourite the particular images you would like to be included in your album. Once I have your selections I will build an album design for you and we can collaborate to create your first family heirloom as a married couple.
As I mentioned above, I will often publish a sneak peek of one or two of your Wedding/ Love Story images on social media. After that, I will write a blog post of your wedding day so that your family and friends can relive the day regardless of where they are in the world.
Outside wedding blogs, (such as Brides up North or Love my dress ) will often approach me to feature a real wedding on their pages, if there is a particular wedding blog you would like me to submit to you only need to ask and I’ll be happy to do that for you!
No need to worry about that- I’ve never had a problem with any of my gear, (touch-wood!)
However I do have backups of all my equipment and I carry them with me just in case!
I certainly do! Many venues will require a copy of my insurance certificate and you need only ask for one to be forwarded to them.
