Anthony & Kay were married on a gorgeous english summers day at the fabulous Longhirst Hall in Morpeth.
I hope you enjoy the story of their wonderful day through my lens :)
Emotions were running high as Kay and the girls prepared for the big day. Kay’s sister, who unfortunatley could not attend the wedding due to her living out in Australia was wishing Kay well from afar over Skype, (the wonders of modern technology eh!) causing some tears to be stifled!
The beautiful bouquets, corsages and buttonholes were designed and supplied by the very talented C&C floral design.
With 5 bridesmaids, four flower girls and a cute as a button pageboy, you can imagine the buzz of excitement in the moments leading up to the ceremony!
Kay looked absolutely stunning in her dress, which couldn’t have been more perfect for her- matching her bubbly personality and showing off her gorgeous figure, she was a truly exquisite bride! While her bridesmaids looked fabulous in the perfect summery shade of peach. And just how cute are those flower girls and page boy!
Check out the look on the flower girl and page boy’s faces above! It’s like they’re looking at a real live princess! Love it!
It was such a lovely moment between Kay and her dad when he saw his beautiful daughter in her dress for the first time! The pride was written all over his face and there was a definite tear in his eye!
Anthony was blown away as his radiant bride came down the stairs of Longhirst’s grand hall with her proud dad.
After a wonderful, love-filled ceremony, the wedding party and guests gathered in the grounds to enjoy the sunshine & merriment.
Beautiful girls and dapper boys made for a gorgeous wedding party!
Each table at the wedding breakfast was beautifully dressed with candelabra adorned in pearls, and each table was identified by a special date in the couples history, such a lovely touch!
The heartfelt speeches brought laughter, cheers (and a few tears!) to the celebrations of the day.
I managed to whisk the newlyweds off to steal a few moments together and make the most of the lovely late afternoon light.
The way these two look into each others eyes, you can see they are a perfect match!
Such an elegant bride, with just the right amount of fun thrown in!
The evening’s celebrations were kicked of with some wonderful crooning from Gary James– Check him out if you’re searching for some swing for your own celebrations! Even the kids couldn’t resist a little two-step! So cute!!
It was so lovely to see the father – daughter bond expressed as they opened the dance floor and Kay’s dad passed his daughters hand over to Anthony for their first dance as husband and wife.
The fun continued with the guests taking to the dance floor to strut their stuff!
Anthony and Kay’s wedding was such a perfect day, and I know you didn’t want it to end Kay, but I’m sure you and Anthony will treasure the memory of the day for the rest of your lives, and there will be many many more special days to come for you to treasure just as much!
I wish you both all the love and happiness in the world! xx
